Privacy Policy
This policy explains how information submitted through the Smarter Practice website may be collected, used, shared, and protected.
Effective August 30, 2026Information submitted directly
Smarter Practice may collect the practice name, website, work email, and other information a visitor chooses to provide when requesting a review or contacting Smarter Practice. Public forms should not be used for patient or health information.
Website and measurement data
Smarter Practice may use analytics and similar tools to understand page visits, interactions, campaign attribution, device information, and form completion. Form field contents are not intentionally sent to analytics platforms.
How information is used
Information may be used to respond to requests, prepare the requested review, operate and improve the website, measure marketing performance, prevent misuse, and provide an agreed service.
Service providers
Smarter Practice may use providers for website hosting, request verification and abuse prevention, analytics, customer relationship management, email delivery, advertising measurement, and AI-assisted analysis. Access is limited to the purpose for which the provider is used.
Practice email checks
For a requested public-information review, Smarter Practice checks whether the submitted email uses the practice’s website domain or is published in its contact information. Matching requests do not need a separate email confirmation, and the report goes only to the qualifying address. If the match is unclear, Smarter Practice asks for a practice email or clarification. Where an additional inbox check is needed, an expiring confirmation link may be used. Links expire after 24 hours; limited verification records follow the website request record’s retention period. Matching an address is not proof of practice ownership or permission to access private accounts.
Retention and security
The website request database clears contact details after successful inquiry-notification processing and removes accepted request records after 90 days. Related email or business records may be retained separately only as reasonably needed for the request, service, security, business records, or applicable obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Choices and questions
Visitors may contact Smarter Practice to ask about personal information submitted through this website or to request a correction or deletion when applicable.
